Level 6 Graduate Diploma
This is Level 6 the Graduate Diploma leading to MCIPS. There are three mandatory modules and a selection of two optional modules to complete this qualification. This module is a management module dealing with the human resources and management of people in the supplies environment. The module considers a variety of aspects of management eg change, adversity, conflict and success. In addition advanced negotiations and strategic aspects of management at this level.
Level 6 Strategic Supply Chain Management - Mandatory Module
A module examining the strategic supply chain management as it affects the organisation and stakeholders. Also the strategic tools used, theories and practices related to supplies strategies. In addition the use of change managements contribution to strategic development.

Level 6 Legal Aspect in Purchasing & Supplies - Optional Module
Law is a critical area for all professional purchasing people, therefore this module is a key part of your understanding of the law relating to supplies. It examines contractual issues and the legislation relating to the purchase of goods and services. However also discusses outsourcing, competition, international and intellectual laws. We treat this particular module differently as the subject requires a different approach.

Level 6 Finance for Purchasers - Optional Module
This module deals with the financial aspects of supplies including key financial models, innovative tools and sustainable procurement. Also the use of cost/benefit analysis, assessing financial reports and the decision making processes involved in robust evaluation of the capital acquisitions. Also an understanding of the terminology used in finance.

Level 6 Advanced Project Management - Optional Module
A module devoted to the the management of advanced projects. The module considers the principles, practices and techniques used in the management of successful projects. It includes the differences between public projects and private sector projects. Also the team working, planning and control of the project, and monitoring/monitoring projects. |
Level 6 Public Sector Stakeholders & Governance
This module examines the various stakeholders and their relationships in a changing environment. Creates an understanding of governance and policies of public procurement also the potential threat of conflict and strategies which may manage this in the future. Finally to evaluate the methods and process of performance measurement in the sector.
Level 6 Strategic Public Sector Programme Management
This module looks at the reasons why measurement of projects and programmes are a critical part of public procurement. It then analyses the risks and the need for strategic supplier relationship, also the knowledge management aspects of programmes in the sector. Finally the monitoring mechanisms and management strategies which underpin such works and also the financial models and funding regimes.
